TAC Drive Privacy Policy

Thank you for visiting the TAC Drive and TAC Health Website and reviewing our privacy policy. This Privacy Policy only applies to information collected through our web site. We do collect other information from you through other channels (including, without limitation, through paper records that you submit to us). The collection and use of that information is subject to the terms of an End User License Agreement (as described in this Privacy Policy). We value your privacy and security as paramount and are committed to protecting your personal information. To this end, we follow a few simple principles when you choose to enroll for our products or services:

Privacy

  1. We will not collect any personally-identifiable information (including, without limitation, your email, phone, medical, personal demographic information, and IP address(es)) ("Personal Information") about you when you visit our website unless you choose to share this information with us.
  2. If you enroll in one of our products or services, you will indicate your agreement with the terms of an End User License Agreement ("EULA"). The EULA contains additional information on how we use your information that is provided to us, whether through the website or in paper form. In the event of a conflict between the EULA and this Privacy Policy, the EULA will govern. Except as set forth in the EULA, we will not share any of your Personal Information to any private or public organizations or private persons without your explicit permission. TAC Health does not collect, use, rent, share or sell your Personal Information for commercial reasons or marketing, except to perform our obligations to you as set forth in the EULA.
  3. We may, however, disclose your Personal Information where we may be required by law to do so, where we cooperate with law enforcement officials, or where we may be obligated to take action regarding fraudulent or illegal activities.
  4. We may also share Personal Information with agents, contractors, service providers, third party suppliers or ours or their affiliates to facilitate our services or to provide services to us. Specifically, TAC Health and TACDrive.com uses credit card processors to provide services on our behalf. When you use our services, we will share your credit card and payment data as necessary for our credit card processors to provide that service. Our credit card processors are prohibited from using your personally identifiable information for any other purpose.
  5. We do not offer or provide products and services for children. If you are under 18, you may use our site only with involvement of a parent or guardian. We do not intend to collect Personal Information from children. If your child has submitted personal information and you would like to request that such information be removed, you may contact us as described below, and we will honor your request.

Security

  1. We may monitor your account and track the following information:
    1. Date and time of last login attempt.
    2. Date and time of last successful login.
  2. We secure this website and our database through multiple layers of integrated protection:
    1. We employ secure socket layers (SSL) security protocol on all of our web pages where Personal Information sharing may occur, at levels at or above the industry standard, with 128-256 bit encryption.
    2. Our servers are housed off-site in carrier-grade data centers with redundant, high-capacity fiber-optic connections to the Internet. The servers are protected by cooling systems, backup generators, and fire suppression systems. Physical security for the servers is provided by our host.
    3. Your account information is password-protected.
      1. We at TAC Health will not know or have access to your password. Your password is yours only and created through an automated and encrypted process.
      2. We recommend that you change this password on a periodic basis to further ensure your protection.
    4. File encryption
      1. If you choose to encrypt a file, this file will be stored itself as encrypted data (within our encrypted database) on our securely hosted, dedicated server.
      2. This encryption process meets or exceeds governmental-level AES encryption.
  3. Your Google Health Data
    1. We do not store your Google Health data and profile anywhere except on your TAC Drive.
    2. This data is stored as password-protected and encrypted.
    3. This data is not backed up to TAC Online or to any location at TAC Health or its subsidiaries unless this is actively initiated by you, the end-user.
    4. Your Google Health data will be stored in an encrypted format on your TAC Drive. This data will be used by you, the end-user, and potentially by those with whom you share your encryption password, only after encryption key entry and verification on a compatible computer during on-screen display and/or printing of your Google Health data.
    5. We do not store your Google Health credentials.

Information Sharing

Who has access to your personal information?

  1. You. You control who can access your Personal Information. If you share your password and your login email with someone else, then they will also have access to your account where some of your Personal Information is stored.
  2. Us (TAC Health). We at TAC Health may access your account to update your personal demographic information and to provide you with the services you request. We will not have access to your encrypted files or your passwords/encryption keys.
  3. Your Sponsoring Agency, if applicable
    1. If your workplace or agency is sponsoring your subscription, they may have access to limited information regarding OSHA surveillance compliance as described further in the EULA.
    2. Your workplace or agency may also have access to anonymous data that is aggregated with other members of your department or workplace in order to provide statistical information regarding wellness trends and OSHA compliance status as described further in the EULA.
  4. The TAC Drive is designed for use as a form of Emergency Medical identification.
    1. Anyone physically holding your TAC Drive will have access to the information that is laser-etched on the outside of your TAC Drive:
      1. This is information that you chose openly during sign-on to have engraved (or not engraved) on the outside of your TAC Drive. It may include the following:
        1. Your Name
        2. Your Blood Type
        3. Your Allergies
        4. Your Emergency Contact Information
    2. Anyone physically holding your TAC Drive may have limited access to the following information below if he/she connects your TAC Drive to a computer:
      1. This includes emergency room physicians, EMS and other First-Responders.
      2. This is information that you chose openly during sign-on, or at a later date, to have displayed (or not displayed) on your TAC Drive "My Profile" Page.
      3. This is information chosen to help you during a time of medical need:
        1. Name
        2. Age
        3. Gender
        4. Blood Type
        5. Medical Conditions
        6. Allergies
        7. Medications
        8. Emergency Contact Information
        9. Primary Physician Information
        10. Contact Lens Use
        11. Foreign Body/Implantable Device Presence
        12. Advanced Directives, including Code Status and Organ Donor Status

Information Collection

What may we collect about your visit when you access our site?

  1. Site-specific information: This is not Personal Information. It allows us to generate data to improve the navigability, security, accessibility, and overall performance of our website.
    1. Which page(s) is/are visited.
    2. Which browser is used.
    3. From where (domain, IP address) you linked to our site, if applicable.
  2. Your specific log-in data
    1. Date and time of last login attempt
    2. Date and time of last successful login
    3. Number of unsuccessful logins since your last login
    4. This is collected for security reasons.

    1. Our site may provide links that access other websites that are not owned or operated by us.
