For this step and the following steps you will need an active internet connection. Here is the link for updating in Mac OSX: http://tacdrive.com/download/TACDrive70c.zip

The file "TACDrive 70a" will appear in your download window. Double-click on it when the download is complete to open the folder with the contained files:



Note: Some versions of OSX will unzip automatically to a folder named TACDrive70a instead of viewing the zip. Select all the files (Command-A) and drag them to the TAC Drive. Open the TAC Drive, find the StartTACDrive application file and double-click on it. You may receive this message as shown below. Click "Open".



It may appear that nothing is happening. There should be another TAC Drive window that opens behind the current windows that looks like this (pictured below). Depending on the number of files that need to be downloaded, it may take a few minutes to update all the files:



Depending on the files remaining on your TAC Drive before this update process, you may not see this window. Instead the TAC Drive application will open. If this is the case, please close down and then re-open the TAC Drive application. The window pictured above should appear, and then the update process will initiate. The TAC Drive file window should open and be ready for use with the updated files. You can doublecheck the software version as 7.0a by going to the File Menu, selecting "Help" and then "About".
