First-time users: How to register your TAC Drive

Step 1: Insert the TAC Drive into the computer

Step 2: Open up TAC Drive

Open the TAC Drive to start the TAC Drive software. For detailed instructions, please follow the steps below.

For Windows Users

Step 2a:

If the TAC Drive does not autorun, open 'My Computer' by holding down the Windows key (located to the left of the spacebar) and pressing the letter 'E'.

Step 2b:

Select In the folder pane that appears on the left of the screen, click the mouse on the TAC Drive directory (in this case F:).

Step 2c:

In the window that appears on the right, click on +StartTACDrive_Win.exe

For Mac OSX Users

Step 2a:

Simply doubleclick on the TAC Drive icon or TAC Drive mounted volume on the desktop.

Step 2b:

In the Finder window that appears, doubleclick on +StartTACDrive.app

For both Windows and MAC OSX users

Step 3: Select Profile Tab

When the TAC Drive file window opens, click on the 'My Profile' tab at the top.

Step 4: Launch Registation

In the file window that appears, click on the TAC Drive icon in the top right of the Window.

Step 5: Fill Out Form

Complete the registration information and click 'OK'. The 'OK' button will appear when all the required fields are completed and the password has been confirmed correctly.

Step 6: Edit Profile

Check your email to review the registration information. Then login to your TAC Online account at https://www.tacdrive.com to enter your Profile information directly. Remember to use the same email address and password that you just entered above.

Step 7: Sync

After you complete entering your information into your TAC Online account, you will need to return to your TAC Drive to sync this information from TAC Online to your USB TAC Drive.
